Serbian defense minister goes on three-day visit to Belarus

BELGRADE - Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic will be on an official visit to Belarus from Monday till Wednesday, and he will meet with his Belarusian counterpart, Lieutenant-General Yuri Zhadobin.

Ministers Gasic and Zhadobin will discuss bilateral cooperation and sign an agreement on defense cooperation.

During his visit, Gasic will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Peter Prokopovich and First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee Igor Bykov, the Serbian Ministry of Defense said in a release.

Gasic will visit the Belarusian Military Academy and the 558th Aviation Repair Plant and lay a wreath at the obelisk monument in Victory Square in central Minsk.
