Political analyst Magdin: Tight score, competition plays out until end of vote count

Political analyst Radu Magdin has stated on Sunday evening that the score announced by the exit-polls for the second round of the presidential elections is very tight, and the competition between Victor Ponta and Klaus Iohannis "will play out" until the end of the vote count.

"I believe the score is very tight. (...) If we are to turn back in time to the 2009 moment, one thing happened in the exit-polls and we woke up with another thing in the morning, after the vote count. What is interesting is that some exit-polls claim Victor Ponta is the favorite, while others claim Klaus Iohannis. We do not have Victor Ponta everywhere en-masse (as the winner of the exit-polls — e.n.), but there are some that claim Klaus Iohannis [is the winner]. From all points of view this competition is still playing out and we will see effectively how the count goes. Categorically the votes in the diaspora count and most probably a lot of votes will come from there for Klaus Iohannis, it remains to be seen to what degree", said Magdin for AGERPRES.
