Serbia's defence minister visits China

BELGRADE - Serbia's Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic will visit China From November 17 to 22 and meet with his Chinese counterpart Lieutenant General Chang Wanquan, the Serbian Defence Ministry said on Sunday.

Gasic and Chang will discuss defence cooperation and sign a military doantion agreement, the statement says.

Memorandums of understanding and cooperation between the Defence Ministry and Chinese company ZTE, cooperation between the two countries' defence universities and understanding between Jugoimport SDPR and China Poly Group Corporation will be signed during the visit.

Gasic will also meet vice president of the Chinese Central Military Committee Fan Changlong and take part in the Syangshan forum organised by the Chinese Defence Ministry.

He will also visit the Special Brigade and lay a wreath at the Monument to National Heroes at the Tiananmen Square.
