President Basescu signs decrees appointing Mihnea Motoc foreign minister, Csilla Hegedus culture minister

Mihnea Motoc is the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Csilla Hegedus is the new Minister of Culture and Deputy Prime Minister, according to the decrees on their appointment signed by President Traian Basescu late on Tuesday, the Presidential Press Office reports.

The head of state on Tuesday also signed a decree noting the resignation of Teodor-Viorel Melescanu from foreign minister and the cessation of his Government membership.
