Bulgaria To Create E-Registry of Its Tourist Destinations
Bulgaria's Tourism Ministry will create an electronic registry of all tourist destinations in the country, said Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova during the opening of the International Meeting Of Touroperators in Plovdiv.
According to Angelkova, the expected increase of number of tourists this ski season is around 4-5%, with highest growth posted by visitors from Turkey - around 10%.
The number of Russian tourists is expected to decrease by around 4%.
In Angelkova's words, the interest in Bulgaria as a tourist destination is increasing in faraway places such as Libya, China and Japan.
The Plovdiv touroperator meeting hosts 90 companies from 16 countries, including UK, Egypt, India, Russia, Morocco, Georgia, Italy, Montenegro, Denmark, Hungary and the neighbouring countries.
