Pirot Free Zone director given plaque of merit in Barcelona

PIROT - Pirot Free Zone Director Dragan Kostic has been awarded the plaque of merit for global development and development of free zones.

Kostic received the plaque in Barcelona on Wednesday.

The recognition, handed out by the World Federation of Free Zones - Femoza, has been awarded to just seven people over the past thirty years.

Kostic, who is also president of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Nis, told Tanjug that the plaque is a prestigious recognition in this field.

"We used a visit by a Serbian delegation to present the benefits that we offer in free zones, as well as to arrange a visit by Miquel Valls Maseda, president of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation, who should visit the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Nis with Spanish investors," Kostic said.
