Balkan security services intensify co-operation against ISIL recruits

Security experts say legal sanctions and the efficient exchange of information on suspects are having an impact on efforts to recruit jihadist fighters.

Balkan citizens who have joined the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria and Iraq are beginning to return home as a result of the legal measures and increasing co-operation among regional security agencies in identifying ISIL's recruiting networks.
