Belgrade ranked among ten must-visit cities for 2015

BELGRADE - The British travel guidebook publisher Rough Guides has named Belgrade one of 10 must-visit cities of the world for 2015.

Belgrade ranks seventh in the prestigious list, alongside Johannesburg, Malaga, New Orleans and Hamburg, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia said in a statement.

Surprisingly, Belgrade is a must-visit destination on any tourist map of Europe - it is a fast-changing city, with long-neglected districts such as Savamala now reborn as meeting points for artists, with great new bars and clubs emerging inside worn, square buildings, the publisher said.

Rough Guides is a renowned UK-based travel guidebook publisher, whose publications cover over 200 destinations and are read around the world.
