Coach from Republic of Moldova side-slips in eastern Romania

A coach from the Republic of Moldova, carrying 31 passengers has side-slipped early on Monday on DN2 national road between the Limpezis and Mihailesti towns, Buzau county (north-east of Bucharest).

"The bus was heading to Bucharest, it has side-slipped on the right side of the road. There are no victims, but the passengers are trapped inside and they are to be pulled out through the roof catch," Buzau Prefect's Office spokesman Calin Iosif told AGERPRES around 7 a.m..

As early as the beginning of the night, several county roads in Buzau were closed preventively, and restrictions for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes were imposed on two other national roads.

"In the southern area of Buzau county there are heavy snowfalls, and the wind is drifting the snow," Calin Iosif also said.AGERPRES
