Central Belgrade streets to be closed for New Year
BELGRADE -- The city authorities in Belgrade have announced changes to the traffic regime in the capital, starting on Tuesday evening, during New Year celebrations.
Starting on 22:00 CET on Tuesday, Terazije Square (from Nikole Pasica Sq. to Kolarceva St.) will be closed to cars, along with Kolarceva, Makedonska (from Decanska St. to Republic Sq.) streets, Republic Square, Francuska and Vase Carapica streets, and Studentski Square.
From 20:00 CET on December 31 until 04:00 CET on January 1, the following streets will be closed: Decanska (from the Terazije Tunnel to Nikole Pasica Sq.,) Nikole Pasica Sq., Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard (from Nikole Pasica Sq. to Takovska St.), Terazije Sq., Kralja Milana, Kolarceva, and Makedonska streets (from Decanska St. to Republic Square), Republic Sq, Francuska (from Republic Square to Despota Stefana Boulevard), Vase Carapica St., and Studentski Square.
During the same period of time, the Pionirski Park Garage will also be closed.
