Minor Tremor Rocks Sofia
An earth tremor of low intensity rocked Bulgaria's capital Sofia on Friday afternoon but no injuries or damage were reported.
According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the tremor measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale occurred at a depth of 12 kilometres at 5.20pm local time (1520 GMT).
The epicenter of the quake was in the southwestern outskirts of Sofia. The tremor was felt mainly in the upper storeys of the buildings in the city's central parts.
