Former minister's office targeted by arsonists

The office of former health minister Adonis Georgiadis was targeted by arsonists in the early hours of Thursday.

According to initial reports, unknown assailants used three cooking gas canisters to carry out the attack which caused some damage to the conservative politician's office entrance located on the fifth floor of a central Athens building.

Georgiadis recently served as parliamentary spokesman of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras's New Democracy party.
