Visit Serbia, Condé Nast Traveler tells readers

BELGRADE -- Condé Nast Traveler has highlighted Serbia and its capital as a must-visit place in 2015 and one of the 15 most interesting destinations in the world.

In the article published online, Serbia ranks 8th on a list that also includes "Cuba, Helsinki, Berlin and Cape Town," the National Tourism Organization of Serbia said.

The magazine is published by Condé Nast, whose portfolio includes magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Brides, Self, GQ and The New Yorker.

The tourism magazine - whose selection of topics showcases luxury and specific ways of life around the world - advised readers to visit Belgrade's bohemian district Skadarlija, the Church of Saint Sava - the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans - and the museum dedicated to Nikola Tesla - Serbia's and the world's genius scientist - noting that they should not miss out on "the positive atmosphere of the city's night life."
