Professor and diplomat Predrag Simic passes away

BELGRADE - Predrag Simic, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences and former Serbian Ambassador to France, passed away suddenly at the age of 61 in Belgrade on Monday evening.

Simic was a foreign policy advisor to the president of Yugoslavia following October 5, director of the Diplomatic Academy, professor of international relations and foreign policy at the Universities of Belgrade and Podgorica. He authored a number of books on foreign policy.

He frequently appeared on the main news programs and political discussion shows as a commentator on foreign policy issues.
