Serbian mufti blasts Islamic State as "Satan"
JAGODINA -- Mufti of Serbia Muhamed Jusufspahic has described the Islamic State as "the biggest scum, gathered together wishing to make Allah repulsive to us."
Commenting on the latest hostage-taking case that involves two Japanese citizens and a ransom demand of USD 200 million, the mufti told the Jagodina-based Palma Plus broadcaster:
"That scenario, those killings, of that journalist, and now what they are preparing to do with the two Japanese, it's their desire to take some more money along the way, and to do the main thing, to make Allah repulsive to me in my heart."
Speaking about the IS, this Muslim dignitary added:
"They came from all over the world: England, Germany, France... to Syria and Iraq, the biggest scum gathered together to, 'in the name of Allah', make Allah odious to us, to make God odious to all of us, that is a version of the Antichrist."
Jusufspahic described the IS as "a Satan shrouded in something foul-smelling, something repulsive."
"The state of God is the Salam State, not the Islamic State. Nothing can be named after Islam, Islam is a path toward God. They are there to, on behalf of the Antichrist, a fake state, grab what belongs to others, and sell it cheap," he continued.
According to the mufti, "this has nothing to with either Muhammed or Christ, or Abram, this has to do with ideology, that must be recognized. It is disorder. In our hearts we must make God happy."
Speaking about the Islamic religious community in Serbia, Jusufspahic said, "We are united when it comes to God, and I call on God and cry that he supports us in that."
"I hope we will be together and follow the trail of Muhammad and all...
