Dacic attends African Union session

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with African Union Commission Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma on the first day of the African Union Executive Council's session in Addis Ababa on Monday.

The officials expressed readiness to promote the cooperation between Serbia and the African Union, particularly in the sphere of economy, reads the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dacic thanked the African Union for its principled stance regarding Kosovo-Metohija's unilateral declaration of independence.

The two officials also underlined the friendly relation that Serbia and the African states had throughout history.
