Tsipras, top econ team review results of high-level contacts

Alexis Tsipras is holding an emergency meeting with the economic team on his Cabinet.

The meeting includes Deputy PM Yannis Dragasakis, FinMin Yanis Varoufakis, Minister of the Economy Yiorgos Stathakis and deputy minister of State Eucleides Tsakalotos.

According to reports, discussion will focus entirely on the results of several meetings Tsipras and the Varoufakis-Tsakalotos duo held with top European and US officials this past week, as well as a “strategic plan” in view of the Eurogroup Summit Feb. 11.
