Suspect arrested for murder and dismemberment of victim

BELGRADE -- A 39-year-old man from Bela Crkva in northern Serbia has been arrested on suspicion that he brutally murdered Pavel Anka.

The suspect, M.G., is believed to have murdered Anka and then dismembered his body, placing body parts in bags.

The daily Blic reports that the police recovered some body parts from the suspect's house.

The police investigation of the scene in ongoing.

The victim was last seen on February 9, when his disappearance was reported to the police by his son.
