Company Savio Firmino to open plant in Jagodina

BELGRADE - Italian companies Savio Firmino will open a fine furniture factory in Jagodina, central Serbia, after a protocol was inked on Tuesday by Jagodina Mayor Ratko Stevanovic and owner of the Italian company Savio Guido.

The Italian company will be given an acre of land in the industrial zone of the town with complete infrastructure, where it will build a factory of 2,500 square meters, Dragan Markovic, president of the Jagodina City Assembly, said at a press conference after the protocol was signed.

He pointed out that this will be the first factory of this kind in central Serbia and that it will employ 50 to 60 workers.

However, until the construction of the plant is finished, Savio Firmino will be working in a rented hall, Markovic said, adding that the first group of workers from Jagodina will go to Italy for training early in March.

The family company "Savio Firmino" was founded in 1941 and its products are exported worldwide.
I hope that after the opening of the factory in Jagodina we will increase sales in Serbia, but also on other market, said company owner Savio Guido.
