Annual congress of Forum for European Journalism Students to take place in Athens

The annual congress of the Forum for European Journalism Students (FEJS) will be held in Athens, Greece from 16 to 21 April. The topic has been titled Stereotypes, Media Exclusion & Far-right Rhetoric in European Media.

The aim is to explore these themes through an academic and practical approach and come to understand how the dynamic of minority - political, ethnic, sexual orientation, disabled etc, has shaped the way European media content is produced and circulated by or because of it.

FEJS congress will be held in the main building of the Department of Communication and Media of the University of Athens. Grypareio Megaro, a beautiful building of the modern architectural style, is located on Sofokleous Street 1 in the very centre of town.

The Forum for European Journalism Students (FEJS) is an international organization dedicated to the exchange of information between European Journalism students, young professionals and even citizens interested in the journalism field. The Forum attempts to bring such individuals together and promote interaction and networking while providing them with educational tools and framework to improve their knowledge and professional skills.
