Mt Kopaonik hosts Snowboard Europa Cup

KOPAONIK - Mt Kopaonik has hosted the Snowboard Europa Cup, with Yekaterina Kosova (Russia), Lea Jugovac (Croatia) and Angelina Milutinovic (Serbia) winning the women's Slope Style event, and Arturus Cukudre (Lithuania), Petar Gosharkov (Bulgaria) and Dusan Kriz (Czech Republic) the winners of the men's event.

The competition featured more than 36 competitors from 12 countries, including Sweden, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia and Serbia.

Serbian Ski Association Secretary General Milan Bozic said that he was pleased with the number of participants and the competition itself.

"With assistance and great understanding from the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Ski Resorts of Serbia, we managed to organise this competition at the top level, and we hope that the FIS technical delegate is satisfied with the organisation," Bozic said.

The Big Air event was cancelled due to poor weather.
