Mustafa:Srpska list has set no conditions to return to gov't
PRISTINA - Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said on Thursday that the Srpska list has set no conditions to return to the government, but added that he will not accept any condition set by the list.
Responding to questions from members of the Kosovo assembly, Mustafa said that Srpska representatives have been invited to return to the government but that they did not respond.
The Srpska list will not be treated any differently than other political entities, nor will there be any special criteria that would favour its representatives, the Kosovo prime minister noted.
The representatives of the Srpska list withdrew from Kosovo institutions after Minister for Communities and Return Aleksandar Jablanovic was dismissed by Mustafa on February 3 for branding as "savages" a group of ethnic Albanians who on January 6 stoned a bus carrying Serbs expelled from Djakovica, preventing them from visiting the graves of their ancestors a day before Christmas.
The representatives of the Srpska list said in a statement on Wednesday that they will not go back to being part of the Kosovo government and institutions unless the ruling parties of ethnic Albanians decide to stick to the signed coalition agreement.
