"Government works to meet EU obligations"

BELGRADE -- The Serbian government is "fully committed to EU integration and is working to meet all the related obligations in full and within deadlines."

This was said during the cabinet's session in Belgrade on Monday, attended by EU Mission to Serbia head Michael Davenport.

"The government is investing significant effort to keep pace with the preparations to open all of the chapters of the accession talks," Tanjug reported, quoting a statement issued by the government.

"There has been progress in the implementation of the Brussels agreement as well, and the Serbian government is committed to solving problems and providing conditions needed for sustainable existence and stabilization of the situation in Kosovo," it added.

The government adopted also a program on the distribution and usage of resources "meant to help those returning to Kosovo in 2015," the statement said, according to Tanjug.
