ND spokesman: Some nerve, blaming former government for lack of funds

In response to the government’s reports on fiscal targets,  New Democracy’s spokesman Kostas Karagounis launched an attack against the SYRIZA government. “Some nerve, blaming former government for lack of funds”, he stated characteristically.

Furthermore, the party’s spokesman noted that on the 31st of December of 2014, the Greek state’s available funds reached 2.574 billion euro, 400 million over their respective number of 2013, while at the same time most state debts to society were paid.

“There were no empty  pension funds or any kind of uncertainty during PM Samaras’ tenure. Nor was there any concern about whether to pay pensions or salaries”, stressed Mr. Karagounis.
