Dacic meets with PABSEC secretary-general

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Asaf Hajiyev on Tuesday.

The talks highlighted Serbia's commitment to promotion of regional cooperation.

Hajiyev arrived on a visit to Serbia to partake in a meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Trade, Environmental and Technologic Issues Committee organized by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

Hajiyev and Dacic pointed out the very good cooperation between the parliaments of the broader Back Sea region, reads a statement issued by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They agreed that preservation and encouragement of the spirit of parliamentarism is in general interest of all countries in this region, the statement reads.
