Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attack in Tunis

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) "strongly condemns" the attack at the Bardo Museum of Tunis on Wednesday afternoon and expresses its "full support" for the efforts of Tunisian authorities to fight any terrorist acts, a media release informed AGERPRES.

According to the MAE, several people were killed, wounded or taken hostages during the attack.

"MAE sends its condolences to the victims' families and expresses its solidarity with the Tunisian people in these dramatic moments. (...) MAE also reasserts its constant support for the democratic path the Tunisian people has firmly taken," the aforementioned document adds. AGERPRES
