President Iohannis participates in European Council meeting

President Klaus Iohannis will participate in the spring meeting of the European Council in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, the Presidential Administration announced.

Before leaving, the President will hold a press conference on Thursday around 9.45am at the Henri Coanda International Airport of Otopeni, near Bucharest, his Administration also informed.

Iohannis is to attend first the Summit of the European People's Party on Thursday; next on his agenda is a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz; then the first working session of the Council and the working dinner of the European Union member states' top officials.

On Friday, Iohannis will participate in the second working session of the European Council; he will address the media around 1:45 pm. AGERPRES
