Serb members of assemblies, parl't meet in Kosovo-Metohija
GRACANICA - Members of the assemblies in the 10 Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) and Serb members of the Kosovo parliament met in Gracanica on Wednesday to discuss their further political activities.
The meeting, the first of this kind, is bringing together representatives of Serb health and education institutions in KiM, mayors of the Serb-majority municipalities, NGOs and Director of the Serbian government's Office for KiM Marko Djuric.
The meeting is being chaired by Minister of Local-Self-Government in the Kosovo government Ljubomir Maric, and Deputy of the provincial prime minister Branimir Stojanovic is also taking part in it.
The meeting is also to address the issues relating to Serbs' everyday life in the province.
The representatives of the Srpska List withdrew from Kosovo institutions after Minister for Communities and Return Aleksandar Jablanovic was dismissed by Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa on February 3 for branding as "savages" a group of ethnic Albanians who on January 6 stoned a bus carrying Serbs expelled from Djakovica, preventing them from visiting the graves of their ancestors a day before Christmas.
