Tender to submit bids for FAP extended

BELGRADE - The Serbian Privatisation Agency has extended until April 27 the deadline for interested companies to submit bids in a tender to select a strategic partner for truck maker Fabrika automobila Priboj, the agency announced on Friday.

A public invitation for bids was published on February 20, with March 27 initially set as the deadline.

The strategic partner is expected to invest at least EUR 1 million and EUR 5 million worth of assets or rights in the new joint venture company, with Serbia to invest the state-owned share of FAP's property.

The strategic partner should manufacture commercial trucks and military armoured vehicles.
