Times: Tsipras has only one option to avert disaster – become a capitalist!

The next few days will show if Greece has any possibility of staying in the Eurozone, according to noted Times reporter and columnist Simon Nixon.

 

The journalist charged that the past two months were “lost” and he noted that Alexis Tsipras was convinced that seeking “blank checks” from partners is a lesson in futility.

 

Nixon states that the German Chancellor cleared things up for him, underlining that Greece will not receive any sort of assistance unless it meets set terms, the most important of which is the ability to fund itself in international markets.

 

Mario Draghi has also underlined that the Eurozone cannot work with permanent lenders and eternal borrowers. National governments will never agree on a system of a permanent funds transference. Each country must stand on its own two feet.
