PASOK Pres. Venizelos’ verbal attack against SYRIZA coalition government

A direct verbal attacked was launched by PASOK president Evangelos Venizelos on the way it has been negotiating with partners two months after national elections.

 

Speaking before Parliament on Monday night, Mr. Venizelos initially mentioned that the government signed the extension of the memorandum without being “okayed” by Parliament, adding that the government failed to secure the 11 billion euros of the FSF.

 

 

The president of PASOK estimated that 36% of the Greek people which voted for SYRIZA did not know that within a few weeks, years’ worth of sacrifice would have gone down the drain. He also blamed SYRIZA’s coalition government for dubbing the third memorandum into a “new development contract”.
