Pakistan committed to strengthening of relations with Serbia

BELGRADE - Deputy Head of Mission and Charge d' Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy in Serbia Mirza Salman Babar Beg stated that his country is committed to the strengthening of friendly bilateral relations to the benefit of both nations and added that Pakistan is ready to improve cooperation with Serbia in all areas.

Addressing a reception hosted on Monday by the Pakistani Embassy to celebrate the 75th Pakistan Resolution Day, he said that he is glad the bilateral exchange increased by 50.8 percent in the course of 2014.

We encourage business communities of Serbia and Pakistan to use an ideal bilateral legal framework between the two countries, Babar Beg said.

At the same time, he congratulated the government headed by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on its continuous ambition to achieving a peaceful environment and guiding Serbia to economic prosperity.

The government headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wishes prompt success to Serbia on its EU path, Babar Beg said.

The reception in Belgrade's Crowne Plaza Hotel was attended by numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps, political life and public scene.
