"Finnish companies show greater interest"

BELGRADE -- Finland's Ambassador to Serbia Pekka Orpana said on Wednesday that Finnish companies were more interested in investing in Serbia.

"This illustrates an increased trust in stability and improvement of the business climate, and the Serbian government's commitment to EU integration," Orpana said in an interview to Tanjug.

Orpana said that Finnish entrepreneurs were particularly interested in using biomass for heating and electricity production, and that they would like to help Serbia in ensuring a more efficient forest management system in cooperation with the public enterprise Srbijasume.

"Finland, which has a very good education system, is willing to share with Serbia its experiences in this field," the ambassador said.
