Best documentaries from Malaga arrive in Belgrade

BELGRADE - The Cervantes Institute in Belgrade is organising a Spanish documentary film event entitled Perspective at Belgrade's Kulturni centar Rex April from 17 to 18.

The programme includes 6 films awarded at last year's Malaga film festival, one of the most important in Spain: Gabor (by Sebastian Alfie), Wild Years (Ventura Dural), Big Mess under the Heaven (Ivan Garcia), Dead City (Xavier Artigas and Chapo Ortega), Scotland (Jorge Pena) and Place to Live (Marta Aribas and Ana Peres).

The selected films portray the latest tendencies in documentary film production and directing, and the main protagonists are people from the edges of society whose problems are not interesting to the media and who receive little attention from others.

The films have already been screened in Berlin, Marakesh, Napoli and Frankfurt.

Tickets for the event cost RSD 200.
