International Building Trade Fair kicks off in capital

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Zorana Mihajlovic opened the International Building Trade Fair in Belgrade on Wednesday, and said that the government will do anything to revive the construction sector.

Opening the event that brings together as much as 25 countries, Mihajlovic invited the entire society to assist in the rebirth of this industrial branch.

The government calls for all companies to take part, and we will support them, the minister said, and voiced hope that the fair will see new jobs contracted and technologies exchanged.

This year, the southeastern Europe's leading fair event in the construction industry will be held under the slogan Building the Future Together.

In keeping with the tradition, the fair will particularly focus on promoting the potentials and prospects of the Serbian construction industry.

It will be open until April 19.
