Vucic: We have come to Azerbaijan with great plans

BAKU - We have come to Azerbaijan with ideas and great plans, Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said during a meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy and Industry and Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia Shahin Mustafayev.

We have decided to modernize Serbia, to strengthen it in economic terms, Vucic said during Tuesday's meeting.

He underlined the importance of involving Azerbaijani companies in infrastructure projects, and the privatization of Serbian enterprises, especially agricultural complexes.

Mustafayev highlighted the great potential for developing economic relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan, and underscored the need for organizing more frequent meetings with representatives of Azerbaijani companies.

These companies have political support for engagement in Serbia.

On Tuesday, Vucic talked with Azerbaijan's state leadership and representatives of renowned Azerbaijani companies.
