'Green Planet' recognition goes to Cajetina

CAJETINA - The municipality of Cajetina has been awarded the 2015 Green Planet recognition for the successful implementation of the project for the primary selection of waste "Waste Is No Thrash", the municipality located on Mt. Zlatibor, western Serbia, released in a statement on Friday.

On the occasion of Earth Day, the Serbian association of environmental science professionals grants the annual Green Planet recognition for the endeavor that benefited nature, an individual, society or organization.

The Green Planet recognition goes to an individual, society or organization that had significant results in the field of environmental protection and promotion over several previous years.
