Media professionals from Bulgaria,Romania on visit to Serbia

BELGRADE - Representatives of the media from Romania and Bulgaria will be on a visit to Serbia from April 19 to 25 so as to learn first-hand about the tourism offer of Novi Sad, Subotica, Sremski Karlovci, Belgrade, Arandjelovac and Topola.

This trip has been organized with the backing from the PR agency Media Consult based in Germany, the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) released in a statement.

According to the national stats office, Serbia welcomed 36,959 tourists from Romania in 2014 that accounted for 76,982 overnight stays, which reflects a rise of 13 percent when compared to the previous year.

The guests from Bulgaria, 51,424 in total, accounted for 88,953 overnight stays in Serbia in 2014, thus registering an increase of 20 percent in comparison to the 2013 figure.
