Palestinian Ambassador to Bucharest pays visit to AGERPRES headquarters

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Bucharest, Fuad Kokaly, paid a visit to the headquarters of AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency, where he discussed with AGERPRES Director General Alexandru Giboi about 'an extended' cooperation agreement between the national news agencies of Romania and Palestine, informs a press release of the Palestinian Embassy on Wednesday.

During the meeting taking place on Tuesday, Kokaly emphasized the importance of mass media institutions in the political, social and economic life, and also the importance of cooperation between the mass media and the public authorities.

'His Excellency assured Mr. Director General of the Embassy's willingness to cooperate with AGERPRES for providing correct pieces of information to the public opinion in Romania. Moreover, His Excellency came with the proposal of an extended cooperation agreement to be concluded between the national news agencies of Romania ? AGERPRES and, respectively, Palestine ? In the end of the talks, the AGERPRES head thanked the Palestinian diplomat for his visit and assured him of Romania's national news agency's readiness to cooperate with the Palestinian Embassy.
