"Monument to Michael Jackson" wins three more awards

BELGRADE - "Monument to Michael Jackson," a movie by Serbian director and screenwriter Darko Lungulov, got another three awards at two international festivals - in Nashville and Rouen.

Lungulov's movie got the Grand Jury Prize and Best Actor Award for Boris Milivojevic at the Nashville 2015 Film Fest in the United States.

The Best Actress Award at this festival went to legendary Geraldine Chaplin for her role in "Sand Dollars."

On Friday evening, "Monument to Michael Jackson" received the Grand Jury Prize at the Central and Eastern European film festival A l'Est du Nouveau, in Rouen, France.

The movie premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in July, 2014. It was awarded the "Golden Mimosa" Grand Prix at the Montenegro Film Festival in Herceg Novi, and Boris Milivojevic received the Grand Prix of Serbia's Nis Festival of Film Achievements.

"Monument to Michael Jackson" also earned the "Honorable Mention of the Jury" at the Let's CEE Film Festival in Vienna and the best Eastern European Film Award at 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
