Islamist killed a police officer and yelled: "Allah is great"

Nerdin Ibric came in front of police station in Zvornik last night in19.15, entered inside and started shooting from a shotgun. He was yelling "Allah is great"!

Officer Dragan Djuric died in the shooting, while his colleagues Zeljko Gajic and Stevo Milovanovic were wounded. During the shooting, the attacker Nerdin Ibric was killed too.

Both police officers who were wounded are taken care of in Zvornik hospital, and they are feeling fine.

The entire area was closed down after the incident, and special forces were securing the area.

Dragan Lukac, Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska said that Ibric knew when police officers were changing shifts, and he used that to attack the station.

It is assumed that Ibric was a member of Wahabbi movement, which is attacking Serbian population in this area.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic condemned the attack on a police station in Zvornik in which one officer was shot dead and two others were wounded.

He also announced that Serbia will help the Serb Republic (RS) based on the Dayton Agreement and not compromising anyone's integrity.

The attack is "terrible news both for the RS and Serbia," Vucic told the state broadcaster Radio and Television of Serbia late on Monday.

In keeping with the Dayton Agreement, RS President Milorad Dodik asked for Serbia's help, the prime minister noted.

Vucic said that Serbia will help the Serb entity in Bosnia financially and with intelligence, "not impairing anyone's integrity in doing so."
