Multimedia exhibition on Nadezda Petrovic in Cacak

CACAK - The multimedia documentary exhibition entitled "Nadezda Petrovic 1915-2015" opened in Cacak, central Serbia, heralds the beginning of marking the centenary of death of this great painter.

"The exhibition is inspired by life, creative work and importance of Nadezda Petrovic in Serbia's artistic, cultural and social life," Milica Petronijevic, director of the Cacak gallery, told Tanjug on Wednesday.

The exhibition opened on Tuesday evening tells a story about the artist's creative work, her family, historical and cultural context with a special focus on WWI, Petronijevic said.

Nadezda Petrovic, Serbia's versatile artist of high moral integrity, patriot and humanist, died as a war nurse in Valjevo on April 3, 1915.
