Giannis, Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s pick-up game in their old Athens ‘hood

The NBA’s “Greek Freaks”, brothers Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, returned to their old neighborhood of Sepolia, in central Athens, on Tuesday for a pick-up game in front of neighbors, past teammates, friends and b-ball fans in general.

Giannis is coming off a successful year with the Milwaukee Bucks, while his younger brother Thanasis was signed by the NY Knicks and dispatched to their D-league last year, with media reports stating that the Knicks will offer him a pro contract this year.

Both men were born to Nigerian parents in Athens, with Giannis also playing for the Greek Under-20 team.
