PM in Bosnia: Time of conflicts has passed

SARAJEVO -- "Serbia showed in Sarajevo on Wednesday that it wants stability, understands that the time of conflict has passed," Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said.

He also noted that the region "can move forward only through joint effort."

"Times are different now and we have to think about working together, about freedom as the highest principle for our people, as well as about peace, which allows us to work on the economy," Vucic told reporters.

"We had a good visit," he stated, adding that bilateral working groups would be formed next week to focus on issues raised on Wednesday.

"Our interest is to have peace and stability, to achieve economic progress,"he noted.

Vucic took part in the Sarajevo Business Forum 2015 and afterwards met with members of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency, head of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmed Mohamed Ali, President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saleh Abdullah Kamel and Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan.
