Daniel Castle of Talisoara, built almost 400 years ago, hides a few unsolved mysteries, among which the one of the significance of the frescoes and of the secret chamber discovered during the restoration works.

The castle was built in the first half of the 17th century in Renaissance style by the Daniel aristocratic family and underwent several stages of expansions and modifications until the beginning of the last century, when it got the current aspect.

The castle was bought a few years ago by two young people, Racz Lilla and Attila, born in Sfantu Gheorghe and Miercurea Ciuc, respectively, who restored it and introduced it into the tourist circuit.

"The story began around Christmas, six, even seven years ago, when we spent the winter holiday at home and I received from my mother an album about castles and mansions. We were at a point when we were considering starting up a business and looking into the tourism area. This is how we found this castle and, at the end of the presentation in the album, there was a mention that it was expecting its hosts, therefore it was for sale," Lilla Racz told AGERPRES

The two young people, who have worked for several years in Bucharest, she, as a marketing consultant in a multinational company, and he, in the IT banking system, say that the choice of the castle was an emotional one and that, at the same time with its purchase, they began a new life.
