Int Friendship Day… Go on… Enjoy your pals!

Friendship Day is celebrated on July 30. Set up in 1958 by the World Friendship Crusade in Paraguay to promote a celebration of social bonding, the commemoration took on international proportions when the UN declared it an international holiday in 2011. Since then member-states have been invited to observe the day — when they’re not engaged in warfare or civil strife.
