The violent incidents against Air France’s managers affect the image of the country, French media report

Air France had been expected to present the full details of the job cuts during its central committee at Charles de Gaulle airport yesterday before the meeting was disrupted and descended into chaos with employees rushing into the room.

The managers of Air France were almost lynched and managed to escape with their shirts ripped off.

However, the management of Air France is trying now to de-escalate the situation and announced that Air France is willing to continue the negotiations with the unions so as to find a solution.

Yesterday’s violent incidents affected not only the prestige and the credibility of the company and but also the image of France abroad, French media report.

French Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron supported the two managers of Air France who were attacked condemning on Twitter the violent behavior of the employees.
