Gambian voodoo fortune teller makes fortune from gullible Greeks (pics)

A voodoo fortune teller from Gambia has caused a storm in the Greek showbiz world. Artists and businessmen would visit him on his 1st floor flat at 160 Agiou Meletiou street in the Athens center to consult with him.

His classified ad said: “Prominent fortune teller, spiritual medium. Helps, solves every serious problems. Clears any form of magic, bad talk. 100% effective in love, relations, marriage, reconnection, reunions. Beneficial opening of professional doors. Deals with chronic ailments, sexual impotence. Knowledge, experience, strength, 100% guaranteed solution. 160 Agiou Meletiou Street, Athens.”

The fortune teller, father of two, first moved into the flat in 2011 and the neighbor in charge of collecting maintenance fees says that there was plenty of activity. “Two jeep would arrive every morning at around 8.30 p.m. and two young girls would come as well as another lady with a Suzuki that hid her car. They all came with a plastic bag, and left something, collected something else and would leave. Most clients would come after noon. Most were women. He’d open up, see them for five minutes and then they would leave. He lives here permanently. His wife comes every summer with a baby and now a second child. Yesterday I went to collect the flat money and he didn’t open up as he used to. He seemed afraid. Many come here. They cook, eat and leave. There are always people in his home.”
