13 PKK militants killed in aerial operations in Hakkari: Army

Thirteen outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants have been killed in aerial operations targeting the organization in the Çukurca district of the southeastern province of Hakkari, the General Staff has said.

"Thirteen members of the separatist organization [PKK] were neutralized in the air operations conducted in Hakkari Çukurca," the statement issued on the official website said.

The statement also added that a number of explosives and organizational documents had been seized in an operation conducted in the Beytü??ebap district of the adjacent province of ??rnak.

Meanwhile, another RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenade, a shotgun and a Kalashnikov clip were seized in operations conducted in the Erci? district of the eastern province of Van.
