Minister says Hague-convicted ex-VJ general is "hero"

Aleksandar Vulin has said that Serbia was "no longer a country that turns its head from its generals-heroes, but one that is proud of them."

The labor, social, and veteran affairs minister spoke for Belgrade-based TV Pink after he on Thursday welcomed back former Yugoslav Army (VJ) General Vladimir Lazarevic in Nis, southern Serbia.
